With world-class science and innovative crop solutions, Syngenta transforms how crops are grown, in order to enable millions of growers to make better use of available resources. Viewers will learn about Syngenta’s AgriEdge Excelsior®. Created by farmers for resourceful growers seeking to enhance productivity, this proven, whole-farm program combines secure data management across digital platforms, innovative product choices for every crop, and trusted on-farm service with the opportunity to earn financial rewards, helping growers maximize and sustain their return on investment.
Focusing on recent developments in biological research, this next segment will show audiences how naturally occurring microbes can help with the issue of feeding our growing world. 3Bar Biologics will discuss its work with the Ohio State University, as well as several industry groups, and will explain how this has resulted in leading-edge products that not only improve yields, but also reduce dependence on synthetic chemicals.
Finally, American Farmer will take a look at Forage Genetics International (FGI). With more than 25-years of experience in the forage industry, FGI is a known leader and innovator in genetic discoveries, variety developments, and cutting-edge technologies. This segment will showcase how alfalfa breeding– mixed with advanced biotechnology processes and trait integration– has enabled FGI to offer highly innovative alfalfa products. Spectators will see how FGI breeds, develops, and produces premier seeds and technologies that not only advance farmer operations, but also move the entire industry forward.
“As climate change and overpopulation takes over, the industry must learn to adapt and move forward in order to continue producing enough food to feed the world,” senior producer, Jennifer Tierney. “We are fortunate to be able to highlight such amazing advances on our show, to help shed a light on what is currently being done, and how you can get involved in the mission to feed the world.”
